Tomorrow, we celebrate Thanksgiving in the United States and at CFCA headquarters in Kansas City. Our office will be closed tomorrow, Thanksgiving Day, and Nov. 23.
This Thanksgiving, hear messages from CFCA sponsored friends and family members as they share their hopes and dreams with you.
This video was made especially for our sponsors, who provide hope for families all around the world. Thank you for making a commitment to your sponsored friend. You are making a difference.
We hope you will take some time throughout the day to offer up little prayers of gratitude for God’s gifts to you.
We are especially grateful at CFCA for the opportunity to connect families who have so much talent and potential, but who are in need of help, with sponsors willing to share their good will and solidarity around the world.
At our headquarters in Kansas City, we like to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday with a special meal for our volunteers and employees. We gather together to give thanks for all of those we serve.
We leave you with a wonderful Jello-Cranberry Salad recipe from Jan at our Kansas City headquarters. Jan makes this for our Thanksgiving luncheons. We hope you all enjoy it as much as we do!
Jello-Cranberry Salad:
3-oz box cranberry jello
16-oz can cranberry sauce (whole berry)
11-oz can mandarin oranges (cut up)
1/2 cup chopped pecans
Cool Whip (optional)
Make jello according to box instructions. You can substitute some of the mandarin orange juice for some of the water.
Add above ingredients. Mix well. Chill. Top with Cool Whip if desired.
From all of us at CFCA, have a safe and wonderful Thanksgiving!

I came on here looking to send an eLetter o my sponsored friend for Christmas like it said in the CFCA Spirit newsletter, but I can’t figure out where to do it. Is there a different link? I searched hopeforafamily.org . Thanks,
